Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film director who was born into an extended family that included both. She's taken on these two fields of work for her own. Two of them were made: Prospettive, 1996, she directed a document about her father and then Abel/Asia, 1998, on the cult film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was recognized at the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her first feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). The film was a collaboration with Asia with screenwriter/actor Linda McArtney. The film came out on the 20th of May the 20th of May, 2000 in Italy as well as around the globe. It was awarded a trophy at the Williamsburg International Film Festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was born in 2001 following her directing some music videos. In 2002 she starred in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton along with Jean-Marc Barr, and the action thrilledirected of Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel.
